BELGRADE, 15 December 2017 – Ivan Kostadinović, CFO of Bambi company, was named as the best CFO in 2017 by CFOAS expert jury.

CFO Association of Serbia (CFOAS) is a business association founded in 2014 in Belgrade, devoted to the professional development of financial managers and strengthening their operations in Serbia. With over 70 CFOs, main objectives of the Association are increasing individual performances and the interconnection of its members and strengthening the role of the Association in the economical field and institutions of importance.

Special ceremony, held within the framework of the annual celebration of the Association, was preceded by the evaluation of the jury, which consisted of Milan Ćulibrk, Editor in Chief of NIN, Dejan Mraković, Director of Tax Consultancy in Deloitte and Milan Bukumirović, CFOAS President.

Based on the 13 nominees, members of the Association, the professional jury selected the shortlist of three candidates on the basis of their expertise, achieved business results for the company, the size of the company, but also on the basis of candidate integrity and authority. After selection of three candidate by the jury, CFOAS members voted for the best CFO of the year. For the best CFO in 2017 was named Ivan Kostadinović from Bambi Company. The second place won Dejana Backović, CFO of Kappa Star Group, and the third place was won by Branislav Loncar, CFO Publicis One-a. Award for the most proactive member went to Sasa Mlađenović, CFO of Karin Komerc.

“This is a great honor for me because it comes from professional and competent colleague whose opinion I respect and admire. On the other hand, this is a great satisfaction to be even better and more successful in business” said the winner of this year Ivan Kostadinović, CFO of Bambi.

“The goal of CFO awards is to raise awareness of the domestic public about the importance of financial professionals and strengthening the role of CFOs in the economy and institutions of importance. We are especially pleased that this year prize went to Ivan Kostadinović whose company was evaluated as the company with the best credit rating in 2016 by Business Registers Agency”, said CFOAS President Milan Bukumirović.

Due to the numerous challenges in the domestic economy, the future activities of the Association will be focused on the exchange of practical experience, regional cooperation, improvement of tax policy and business environment”, said the CFOAS Manager Aleksandar Plavšin.
